The Alphard is a different category

There are people for whom an airport transfer is logistics. The Alphard is not for them. The Alphard is for people whose arrival is a moment — a honeymoon that has been six months in planning, a milestone birthday, a corporate offsite where the chairman lands first, a wedding party where the bride is in the second row and the photographer is shooting from the kerb.

The Toyota Alphard Hybrid in our fleet is the third-generation flagship — the model Toyota itself uses to ferry royalty in Tokyo and the model that Indonesian state guests are received in. Every unit we operate is the Executive Lounge trim or higher, model year 2022 or newer, with twin captain seats in the second row that recline to 45 degrees with extending ottoman footrests, individual climate zones for every passenger, panoramic dual sunroof, and the ambient-lighting system that gradually warms from cool-white to amber the moment doors close.

Capacity, configuration, and what makes it different

Passenger capacity: 1 to 4 adults. The Alphard technically fits seven, but we sell it at four because the entire point of the vehicle is the second-row captain seats with ottomans. Sell the third row and you have a regular minivan. We do not do that.

Luggage capacity: 4 large checked bags + 4 carry-ons. If your party is four with full ski-bag-grade luggage, mention it in notes — we send the long-wheelbase variant.

For honeymoon transfers, we add the honeymoon kit: a chilled split of Indonesian sparkling wine, fresh flower arrangement on the centre console, hand-written welcome card from the dispatcher who took your booking, and either rose petals or a Labuan-Bajo-curated playlist depending on what you noted at booking. The kit is $25 over the standard Alphard rate.

The Alphard premium reflects the vehicle, the driver tier, and the time. Our Alphard drivers are the senior tier of our roster — minimum five years with us, hold a tour-guide licence in addition to commercial driving certification, and complete an annual hospitality refresher. For VIP arrivals — meet-and-greet inside the arrivals hall before baggage claim, name-board service, expedited luggage retrieval, and lounge access — add $45 per booking on top of the zone rate.

When to choose the Alphard

The Alphard is the right choice when:

You are arriving on your honeymoon
You have a wedding party with the bride and groom in one car
You are an executive or corporate VIP where the welcome is part of the business signal
You are celebrating a milestone (anniversary, big birthday, retirement trip)
You are travelling with a private high-net-worth guest, agent, or principal
The hotel is Plataran, Ta’aktana, AYANA, or Sudamala Seraya — venues where the lobby arrival is itself ceremonial

Choose the Innova instead if the trip is functional and the budget matters more than the experience. Choose the Hiace instead if you are five or more.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Alphard available for late-night flights?
Yes — there is a $8 surcharge for arrivals between 00:00 and 04:30 (drivers are paid the late-night premium directly). See our late-night service.

Can I request specific music or a no-music policy?
Yes — note your preference at booking. The default is no music; we ask before we play. We also accept Spotify or Apple Music playlists you send before pickup.

Does the Alphard provide child seats?
Yes — up to two child seats per booking. The Alphard’s ISOFIX anchors are on the second-row captain seats. We do not recommend the Alphard for families of four with two infants under two, however — the ottomans become awkward; the Innova is more practical for that configuration.

Are the champagne and flowers always included for honeymoons?
The honeymoon kit ($25 add-on) includes them. The standard Alphard rate does not — but we always ask at booking, and the great majority of honeymoon transfers add the kit.

Can the Alphard reach the harbour pier for liveaboard pickup?
Yes — Bajo Marina, Marina Bayview, and Plaza Marina all accept the Alphard. For Seraya, Bidadari, and other boat-required islands, the Alphard delivers to the pier and we hand off to the speedboat.
