Effective April 2026, Komodo NP enforces a 1,000-visitor-per-day cap across Komodo, Rinca, and Padar Islands, divided into three timed sessions: 05:00–08:00, 08:00–11:00, 15:00–18:00.

This is the new reality for round-trip planning:

• Your arrival flight must clear LBJ in time for either an afternoon park session or a same-day liveaboard departure. A 17:40 Scoot landing from Singapore (TR292) cannot make a 15:00–18:00 session — your transfer needs to roll within 22 minutes of touchdown for a same-day evening park entry.
• Your return flight must allow buffer for park sessions that overrun. A morning park session that “ends at 11:00” often returns to Bajo Marina at 13:30 in monsoon season. Booking a 15:00 transfer for a 17:00 flight is too tight. Book 14:30, locked.
