Why the Innova is our default vehicle

When somebody books a transfer from Komodo Airport without specifying a model, we send the Innova. It is the balance point of our fleet — large enough for a family of four with full luggage, narrow enough to handle Labuan Bajo’s hill-climb roads to AYANA Komodo or Plataran without trouble, and priced inside the comfort zone of nearly every visitor we meet at LBJ arrivals.

The Toyota Innova Reborn is the workhorse of Indonesian premium transport. Every unit in our fleet is the second-generation Reborn, model year 2021 or newer, with a 2.4-litre diesel engine, automatic transmission, and a 7-seat captain configuration that gives you 1+2+3 split — meaning the middle row offers two captain seats with a walkway, not a three-across bench. Your luggage rides in the dedicated boot, not stacked across knees.

Capacity, comfort, and what comes inside

Passenger capacity: 1 to 6 adults. The seventh seat exists but we do not sell it because the boot space disappears the moment a tourist family attempts six full-size suitcases plus duty-free.

Luggage capacity: 4 large checked bags + 4 carry-ons. Dive gear is fine for two divers. For three or more divers, ask about the Toyota Hiace instead.

The cabin is intentionally restrained. We do not deck the Innova with welcome flowers, ambient lighting, or champagne — those are signals that belong to the Alphard. The Innova’s promise is competence: a driver who knows the road, a vehicle that does not intrude, and a price you do not have to defend at home.

The price you see is the price you pay. Fuel, parking, tolls, taxes, child seat, mineral water, cold towels, and Wi-Fi tethering are all included. There is no surcharge for late-night arrivals before midnight, and no surge pricing during peak season. When to choose the Innova over Hiace or Alphard

Pick the Innova if any of these describe you:

You are a couple with a moderate amount of luggage
You are a family of three or four
You are travelling solo or as a pair and price-conscious
You are heading to a downtown hotel and the trip is short anyway
Your inbound flight has standard timing and you do not need lounge access

Choose the Hiace instead if you are a dive group with gear, a multi-couple party, or a family of five or six with extra-large luggage. Choose the Alphard instead if you are arriving for your honeymoon, want captain seats with ottoman footrests, or have an executive arrival where the vehicle itself is part of the welcome.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Innova safe for child passengers?
Yes. We provide a free child seat (infant bucket or forward-facing booster) on request — write the child’s age in your booking notes. ISOFIX anchors are present on the second row.

Can six adults actually fit comfortably?
Six adults fit, but luggage capacity drops. If you are six adults plus six suitcases, switch to the Hiace. The Innova is honest at four to five adults with full luggage, six adults with carry-on only.

Do all Innovas in your fleet have the same year and condition?
Every Innova we operate is 2021 or newer, inspected weekly, leather treated monthly. We never substitute an older sub-class. If maintenance pulls a unit, we upgrade you to the Hiace at no extra cost.

Can I request a specific driver?
Yes — repeat guests often do. Mention the driver’s name in the booking notes and we will assign them if their schedule allows.

What if my flight is delayed?
